We’re only two shows away from the big one!

It’s time to talk about the movies hitting theaters in the second quarter. But first, we talk some pinball and Netflix binging. Then it’s on to Oddmall, a new game release we’re looking forward to, some Deadpool stuff (of course!) and a little discussion on bad movies and syndicated tv shows. Listen now!

News – another Big Trouble in Little China game is on the way, Deadpool 2 Cable casting, Deadpool comic teaser, MST3K and RiffTrax
Q2 Movies – all the good geek stuff coming to theaters over the next three months, including the beginning of the summer blockbusters with Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 and Wonder Woman

Comics Cosmos – Feelin’ the Blues

Kennel Block Blues is a short run comic that tells the story of Oliver, a good dog sent to Jackson State Kennel, and how he befriends fellow inmates and helps to plan an escape. And when I say inmates, that’s what I mean – the kennel is depicted as a prison, with multiple types of animals incarcerated therein. She Geek Critique – Finding Homer

Over the past week I was finally able to find some time to watch The OA. (I’ve heard so much talk about it!) For those not familiar, this is a Netflix series about a young woman, Prairie Johnson, who was missing for seven years and returns home. Seems like a straightforward sort of drama, right? Well, there’s more than one twist to the story, the first of which is the fact that when Prairie went missing she was blind and when she returns her sight has been restored.
