The Gamer Geek Blog – Because Reasons

Pokemon Sun and Moon came out this, well last, month and sold very, very well making $10 million in its first 10 days of being released worldwide. So two days ago Bravely Default turned four and to celebrate this Square Enix did something that Apple always does: announced an announcement. Now as someone who has to always be on the lookout for something to write about, this made me very mad and confused. They said they are going to be saying something soon, but what does that mean? The Gamer Geek Blog – Make Mine Music

So I was on my college radio station last week, talking about video games of course, and something I didn’t notice until at least half way through the show was that they were playing music while we were talking. I found that rather odd until I realized that we take the music in most games for granted, which is sad because a lot of games have amazing soundtracks, like Xenoblade. Half of its soundtrack is orchestrated and the other half has a more robotic feel to represent the organic and robotic half of the game, which is an amazing concept for a Wii game.

So after a few weeks of no real games coming out I realized that we are kinda in a drought for triple A games. I mean, Square was supposed to release Final Fantasy 15 tomorrow, but they pushed it back. And two weeks ago Shantae: Half-Genie Hero was supposed to arrive, but it got pushed back.
