Comics Cosmos – The Vision

ccWhether you’re a Marvel movie fan or you read the comics (or both!), you’ve heard of Vision. He’s actually had a few iterations over the years, beginning as an alien in 1940 through the android/synthoid most are familiar with from the MCU. He has a long history in comics and has primarily appeared with the Avengers or various members thereof, though he did have a couple four-issue series runs of his own (1994 and 2003).  Continue reading Comics Cosmos – The Vision

Miss Dawn’s Musings – Creepy Tech

Blog-MDMAs it’s the beginning of Hallowe’en month, it seems appropriate to talk a bit about the horror genre. I’m not into the hack and slash variety (they bore me with bad storytelling and repetitive, unrealistic effects) and anything overtly fake is just tedious to sit through. Blog-IIHere at Geek Watch One, we try to not repeat ourselves. But with Luke Cage hitting Netflix this week, we thought it was worth revisiting Kylan’s post from last year covering the character’s history. Enjoy!

Luke Cage is a Marvel character who has been around since the early 70’s and has mostly been a B or C tier character until Alias (with Jessica Jones) and the “Civil War” event. Now he’s up there with the big boys – Cage is even an Avenger now! As you may know, he is one of my faves and is a great study in self improvement. Ride with me in the way back machine as I give you a crash course on him from his meager beginnings to his rise to the top. Continue reading Irregular’s Intel – Why I Love Luke Cage (Revisited)

The Gamer Geek Blog – Triple A Drought

GGBHey geeksters!

So after a few weeks of no real games coming out I realized that we are kinda in a drought for triple A games. I mean, Square was supposed to release Final Fantasy 15 tomorrow, but they pushed it back. And two weeks ago Shantae: Half-Genie Hero was supposed to arrive, but it got pushed back.
