Comics Cosmos – The World Awaits

If you’re a longtime comicbook fan, you know the name Mark Millar. His career in comics began in the 90s, working for a small British publisher before he moved to DC. Leaving DC in 2001 (just before his Superman: Red Son was published) Millar moved to Marvel, where he launched Ultimate X-Men and wrote one of Marvel’s biggest series, Civil War. Of course, most people know him now for the comics (and movies) from his creator-owned line Millarworld – Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Kingsman  among them.   Continue reading Comics Cosmos – The World Awaits

Irregular’s Intel – Choose This Mission!!

With Mission: Impossible Fallout on it’s way to theaters this week, I began watching/rewatching the entire series a few weeks ago. I am a huge fan of the series, but I had a take it or leave it attitude with John Woo’s Mission: Impossible II. Listen now!  Continue reading GW1 Issue 164 – Here Come the Con

What happens when human stupidity is the cause of it  instead though?  Continue reading Best Geeky Finds – Out of the Ocean and Into the Trailer

Irregular’s Intel – That Man Fred

Last weekend I finally got to see a documentary that I had been waiting to come to my city, Won’t You Be My Neighbor? For those not in the know (and shame on you for not being!), it is a doc about the iconic and award winning show Mister Roger’s Neighborhood. But it is so much more than a litany of behind the scenes stories. It is about a phenomenal individual who changed numerous lives through a show that, by modern standards, did not make good TV.  Continue reading Irregular’s Intel – That Man Fred
