So school started for me this week, and there was almost no blog this week. But as far as news goes role playing fans should be ecstatic…well kinda.

Nintendo has once again boggled my mind on their business plans. What they decided to do was release a new special Fire Emblem 3ds with the release of Fates coming next time. But since this is Nintendo here’s the kicker: the new 3ds will only be a new 3ds. Normally they bundle the game with the hand held, I guess they thought that was too much….wait, never mind, it just dawned on me why they are releasing the game with the 3ds. Since you can pick one of two versions of the game they would have to make new models of the new 3ds….or they could release a special compact 3ds and bundle it with two sets of face plates. But aside from that, Gamestop is canceling preorders on the special edition of the games, so if you preorder the special edition of the game before Nov 17th you SHOULD still get yours.

For people like me, Square Enix has said they will release a collector’s edition of Bravely Second in April so I will be spending $70 on it because I’ve waited for this for a long time, not as long as Xenoblade but its been at least a year.

And the Pokemon company thought it would be a good idea to put a chandelier in a fighting game with pokemon that can actual fight…
