I tried to be clever and hep you cats to a cool obscure word for the title, but I failed. Either, no such word exists, and it should, or it does and my above average research skills were lacking. Either way, you’re here and you know what I’m writing about. 

Recently, I’ve gotten my reading groove back and I love it. My brain feels like it is operating closer to its normal parameters and I have a healthy stack to work down. Having said that, I have some New Pulp that I have been waiting to get into, and now is the time! Not that I am not enjoying my current read, because I totally am, but with each page I am ever closer to a completely new world, one of high adventure, danger and new characters. And, If I am lucky, I will be able to get the author on Geek Watch One to talk about his series and the world that he has created. For those of you wondering what I mean when I say New Pulp, check out my previous blog post.

With the anticipation I wonder if I need to change my messenger bag? Maybe I should go back to the previous one instead of my old army one? Or maybe my nice leather one that my mother-in-law gave to me (see, I have options). And, of course, there’s the bookmark. Do I go with a book thong or one of my decorated marks… maybe the one with world maps on it? See, it is no easy task because that new book becomes an event of sorts.
