Have you ever had the sudden urge to dress like your favorite hero or villain? Maybe a member of an elite intelligence unit or an ex military drifter? Did you go for it? Did you even know that it is actually a thing? Yep, it is and you should embrace it! 

The beauty of it is you can be expressing your love for your fandom and your friends, family or coworkers who are not in the know would be clueless! Case in point, pretty much everyday of my life for the past year I have been an Agent of SHIELD, some days more so than others, but it still adds that bit of geek to my day that I thoroughly enjoy. I have a friend who carries her TARDIS key with her and dresses everyday just in case The Doctor will show up in his blue box and take her away on an adventure!

Not only can you do this with your existing wardrobe, but there are now companies that are designing business suits so that you can express your fandom in the boardroom, too! It is definitely the age of the geek! You know, the next time you see someone that vaguely reminds of someone in a book you read or game you played, they may be expressing their fandom in everyday cosplay.
