It’s no secret that I am a reader… so much so that my license plate says it! Now, 2017 was a busy year for me and I did not read much, AT ALL. As a matter of fact, it is probably my lowest year since… I don’t know… before I could read? Yeah, I’m not proud of it… as a matter of fact, I left a couple of unfinished books back there, too. But, that is ok because I am going to turn this ship around! How? Well, like the title says… I HAVE A PLAN! 

Not only did my fiction/non-fiction book count suffer, but so did my comics. A tragedy, I know! But I will be able to enjoy both and keep myself honest through the process. We have a 7 day week and, with some time management, I will be able to read comics/graphics Monday through Friday, hoping to blow through one or two a week this way. On the weekends, when I generally have more time, I will read books, hoping to knock out one in a weekend… maybe. I’ve started and so far, so good. Now, how do I keep myself honest?

Goodreads.com! That’s right, I have a 50 book goal for 2018 and will use the site to track and post it on Facebook and Twitter. So in doing this – and maybe to be an enabler – I may, from time to time, use my blog to review what I am reading or even talk about it on Geek Watch One. So there’s the plan and the means of execution of said plan. If you’re reading this, I’m curious: what are your reading goals for this year?
