Irregular’s Intel – Marvel’s Future Fight

Blog-IIMy latest portable gaming obsession? Marvel’s Future Fight. The story is that, in the future, Ultron has calculated a way to destroy the earth and has killed all of the heroes trying to stop him. Wolverine and Nick Fury had come to the present day to warn the heroes, and to offer help in some way from time to time. The beauty of this game is in it’s simplicity and how increasingly difficult it gets as you progress. You can team up to three heroes together, with a guide for which teams give you an extra boost in some way. Some classic combinations will give you a boost, like the Avengers (Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow), Heroes for Hire (Luke Cage and Iron Fist), or Heroes of Darkness (Ghost Rider, Blade, Punisher). They also give you boosts for logical teams like Martial Artists (Daredevil, Iron Fist, Elektra), Heavy Hitters (Hulk, Luke Cage, Kingpin), or Desperate Men and Lovers (Daredevil, Black Widow, Elektra).

The game gives you five teams to set and switch as you choose. You can purchase additional costumes for added oomf as well as jewels to upgrade your abilities. I laughed at some of the team-ups because they go so deep into Marvel history that if you wanna kick it old school you can and if you want to keep it current, you’re free to do that as well. I usually don’t get caught up too heavily in app games, but this one has stolen my heart. I love to play in the Marvel universe already, but now I get to team Agent Coulson and Steve Rogers, too… I am there! Be warned, it is easy to buy crystals to buy costumes, so proceed with caution!! If you’re a fan, let me know what you think… if you’re not, I’d like to hear why.
