When The Ring was first released in theaters, the concept was unique and actually threatening. A VHS tape with a trapped spirit. VHS tapes were regularly rented and borrowed from friends, and the more they were played, the worse the tracking got, causing lines on the screen. Irregular’s Intel – Going Dark

For the last several year there has been a trend in comics. This is a trope that is so old that soap operas and professional wrestling were almost founded upon this. It’s when the hero, or protagonist, goes dark. We’ve all seen it before. We all remember the classic episode of Star Trek where everyone ran into their evil self (usually in a goatee). Or in Knight Rider when Michael meets an evil adopted brother (who still looked like him), Garth. I can fully explain how and why this makes sense, just not here. Message me and we’ll talk! It’s been more than 15 years since Sega’s Dreamcast gaming console was first released in the US. It had a lot of exclusive games that, as popular as they were, have not been recreated on current platforms like Xbox or PlayStation. GW1 Issue 108 – It’s All a Front

We’re a little all over the place this week, but you can probably tell we had a good time.
