While watching the Super Bowl last weekend, I noticed that there were a lot of superhero film spots. With scenes from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, Captain America Civil War, Batman Vs Superman, X-Men: Age of Apocalypse, and Deadpool (which will be released this Friday, just in time for Valentine’s Day). After watching all of these previews I couldn’t figure out at the time which one I liked the best. Out of all of these movies I am still very excited about Batman Vs Superman, but their TV spot didn’t do too much for me. To my surprise the one that had my interest was for Captain America Civil War. Plus my favorite commercial of the night was the Coca-Cola ad with Ant-Man and the Hulk. Miss Dawn’s Musings – Sportsball and Stuff
This year, for the first time in many years, I did not watch the Super Bowl (or the Big Game or whatever the hell you’re allowed to call it and not get in trouble for infringing the rights of the poor little NFL). Instead, I relaxed, read, watched some Netflix (Bob’s Burgers, if you need to know) and caught all the movie trailers online that were shown during the game.
