She Geek Critique – Choose Your Path Wisely

When I was a kid, I read a few Choose Your Own Adventure novels. I’m sure you know the ones – start with a basic plot and every page or two there’s a choice to make and you turn to the appropriate page to continue the story. The fun was never knowing if you’d really made the right choice until you read the consequences. She Geek Critique – Story After Story

Perhaps it’s because I grew up watching Twilight Zone, Tales from the Darkside, Outer Limits and others that I enjoy watching anthology shows. You know the ones, the series that have overarching themes or ideas behind them, but every episode is a self-contained story. Miss Dawn’s Musings – Creepy Tech

Blog-MDMAs it’s the beginning of Hallowe’en month, it seems appropriate to talk a bit about the horror genre. I’m not into the hack and slash variety (they bore me with bad storytelling and repetitive, unrealistic effects) and anything overtly fake is just tedious to sit through. I prefer the more real world paranormal movies and shows, the creepy things that make your skin crawl.
