She Geek Critique – Such a Timeless Flight

I’ve probably mentioned before that musicals are one of my pleasures (notice I didn’t say “guilty pleasure” – nothing to feel guilty about!). Whether it’s big stage versions, local theater productions or on the big screen, I enjoy them immensely. And I love the trend in recent years of musicals using well-known tunes to tell their stories. I guess the popularity of this style of musical really started with Mamma Mia, but there’s also We Will Rock You, Rock of Ages, Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and more. She Geek Critique – Realness in Action

It’s probably no surprise to most of you that I enjoy action movies. The violence, the fighting, the explosions – all of it. Plus, they’re usually movies that you can simply have a good time with and not need to concern yourself with some deep, meaningful plot. Of course, that doesn’t mean quality writing should be sacrificed. This weekend the movie Marvel fans have been waiting for arrived. And I’m not talking just the year-long wait since Avengers: Infinity War. No, Avengers: Endgame is the culmination of 11 years and 20 movies set in the MCU that audiences have laughed, cried and cheered their way through.
