Irregular’s Intel – Where My Blerds At?

About a little more than a year ago, I was attending Dragon*Con in Atlanta and I heard of a gathering that, were I feeling better, I would have attended. Recently the Academy (of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, aka the Oscar folks) announced a few updates to their awards and broadcast.
