Best Geeky Finds – Dreadful, Melancholy and Calamitous: A Series of Unfortunate Events

“Look away, look away.” Audiences are continuously requested this throughout the Netflix series, based on the popular children’s book series, A Series of Unfortunate Events. The events, as author of the series and reporter of the terrible events which surround the Baudelaire children, Lemony Snicket (played by Patrick Warburton) explains, are so terrible nobody should watch. There are so many better things on television than the horrible stories here. And yet, doesn’t telling somebody this make them want to watch more? Irregular’s Intel – International Women’s Day and Living in my Bubble

In the whole of my existence, I have related to the women in my life in as many ways as considered humanly possible. In my short 46 years on this earth I have developed a deep respect for women because of my life experience. My sister and I were raised by my mom. As I grew up, I watched this amazing woman take on the role of Mother, Father, breadwinner and any other that may have been required of her on a daily basis. I never related to the notion of “traditional” gender roles. The same could be said for all of the women in my life.
