By now, everyone knows there’s a lot more to the Spider-Verse than Spider-Man – just the fact that there’s a “verse” is a big clue. She Geek Critique – Entering Otherworld

Virtual reality (VR) has been a theme in sci-fi novels since before VR was actually a reality. Obviously, it’s a little more prevalent now, with a common plot line being what could go wrong either due to the technology itself or the people using and abusing it. Perhaps the best known VR-set novel of recent years is Ready Player One. She Geek Critique – Choose Your Path Wisely

When I was a kid, I read a few Choose Your Own Adventure novels. I’m sure you know the ones – start with a basic plot and every page or two there’s a choice to make and you turn to the appropriate page to continue the story. The fun was never knowing if you’d really made the right choice until you read the consequences.
