Hey Geeksters!

So the game awards was last week and in the midst of all the games getting their awards, the lovely devs over at Double Fine have announced that the cult classic Psychonauts will be getting a sequel, once its fully funded on Fig, a new crowd funding campaign site.

Along with the game awards, PSX was this weekend and out of all the cool things that were shown off Nino Kuni 2 being revealed was the weirdest. To think that a 500+ hour long grind fest would get a sequel, but what’s throwing most people off is the fact that studio Ghibli doesn’t really have an animation team to make the game, so the question is whether they are going to outsource it to another studio or come back to make and finish the game. And the end all be all that was shown was actual footage of the Final Fantasy 7 remake – the game looks down right amazing. The only down side to be found is the fact that its going to be cut up into pieces like the telltale games.

I don’t know why Nintendo tries to do certain things, like reveal Minecraft on the WiiU. No one wanted this – if you want to play Minecraft you get it on the PC with all the mods and you keep playing until you either get good enough to be a YouTuber or go off and work for a company like Achievement Hunter.
