The Pokemon Company really knows how to push my buttons. Yesterday, at like 6 am est, Coro Coro revealed that that there will be a new pokemon in the next movie. All they gave us was a silhouette and a name: Magiana. Then 6 hours later, Coro Coro revealed an image of the pokemon and the fact that it’s being chased and it’s a man-made pokemon. So the internet being the internet, there are at least 20 ideas of what the backstory is, its typing, that it’s the first pokemon for gen 7. And, of course, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company itself aren’t saying a word because that’s how Japan works.

So yeah, lots of unanswered questions, a weird robot pokemon and, oh yeah, Gametrailers has officially gone away after 13 years of work, so tears… they will be missed
