Blog-IIEarlier this week I celebrated 16 years of wedded bliss with a truly amazing woman. Now, we’ve had our ups and downs, as all marriages do, but I wouldn’t trade what I have with her for all of the Valerian steel in the six kingdoms, or is it seven? Irregular’s Intel – Space Western

Blog-II A couple of weeks ago I was at my local comic shop picking up my pulls for the week when I noticed a title I had not seen in a very long time, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. Many of you may not have heard of this title. It was an animated series that was shown in the US in the late 80s and featured a team of four law officers who patrolled the outer reaches of civilized space in a ship that could turn into a giant robot (didn’t they all?). It was one of many shows that followed a similar formula. As I read the book I was reminded of my love of the space western and I wonder why it hasn’t had more than a niche following.
