Miss Dawn’s Musings – Let the Games Begin

Blog-MissDawnsMusingsI am not now, nor will I ever be, a gamer geek. It’s just not where my interests or fandoms lie. This applies to video games and tabletop. It’s not that I refuse to play or don’t enjoy it when I do, but I have so many other things I’m interested in I just don’t have the time to devote to gaming. If I’m hanging out with someone and they ask if I want to play a board game or card game or video game, I’ll usually say yes because we’re hanging out anyway and it’s something fun to do. But if they ask me what I want to play, my usual reply is “whatever you like” or “anything is fine” because I really don’t have much of a preference. No real news things this week, just a lot of black Friday deals. League of Legends and Smite are getting patched – both are just some game play balancing and skins.

The Fire Emblem Fates pre-orders are gone from Amazon, Best Buy, and Gamestop so if you were planning on pre-ordering on black Friday, you’re out of luck. If Nintendo is smart they will do another round of them like with the new Xenoblade X, but even if they don’t, you can buy one game get the other for half off and get the third one for $20 as well, bringing your total to $80 if you pre-order or not.
