With the announcement last week that Kitty Pryde and Colossus will be getting married in an upcoming issue of X-Men Gold, it seems like a good time for some background on one of Marvel’s most powerful mutants. Yes, I’m talking about Kitty, not Colossus. Because she was pretty much a kid when she first joined the X-Men, she hasn’t always been given a fair shake as the formidable character she is. Miss Dawn’s Musings – Civil War Perfection
It should come as no surprise that I saw Captain America: Civil War this past weekend (well, Thursday night to be exact). I am a Marvel chick, after all, plus we talk about it on this week’s show. So I want to explain why I think this is an almost perfect superhero movie. (Very minor spoilers ahead – I don’t give away the good stuff.) Continue reading Miss Dawn’s Musings – Civil War Perfection
Best Geeky Finds – In a World Full of Lego You Always Keep Building
In the Marvel Universe (comic or MCU) this is definitely important when you consider how much gets destroyed in battles with Hydra, Dr. Doom, The Green Goblin, or any of the many villains of the X-men. I recently began playing Lego Marvel Superheroes, and some, if not all, of these villains make their presence known as the Avengers, Spidey, Fantastic Four and the X-Men all team up to combat the many supervillains in league with Dr. Doom and his plan involving mysterious Cosmic Bricks. Irregular’s Intel – Marvel’s Future Fight

Wolverine and Nick Fury had come to the present day to warn the heroes, and to offer help in some way from time to time. The beauty of this game is in it’s simplicity and how increasingly difficult it gets as you progress. Continue reading Irregular’s Intel – Marvel’s Future Fight
Best Geeky Finds – Why We Need More Agent Carter

(Strategic Scientific Reserve) – the precursor to S.H.I.E.L.D – while regularly being unnoticed by her superiors and those she is investigating. Unnoticed by most, except fellow agent Daniel Sousa and Howard Stark. Being unnoticed is an advantage to Carter, allowing her to go undercover and learn secrets nobody else is able to find.
