If you’re a fan of Doctor Who (aka a Whovian) or simply savvy in pop culture, you already know that the identity of the 13th Doctor has been revealed. (For those not into Doctor Who, the character is a Time Lord who regenerates instead of dying… you know what? Go watch Doctor Who!) Aside from maybe 4, the Eighth Doctor, Paul McGann, is my favorite regeneration of the Doctor. While he was not seen for long in the TV movie, his character has lived on in Big Finish’s audio dramas, proving that he should have been the first Doctor to return when the series was rebooted. Unfortunately, he did not come back to television (other than the short 50th anniversary clip), but along with the audio dramas, Titan Comics has published a volume of comics encompassing his short run in comic form as well. Pretty sure I’ve mentioned a time or two that I’m a big fan of Doctor Who, otherwise known as a Whovian.
