I pride myself on having a full life. Prior to Geek Watch One I was pretty busy, probably as busy as I am now, but in different ways. Irregular’s Intel – Gene’s Dream
Last weekend Star Trek Beyond opened and, of course, I went to see it. I really enjoyed it and it finally feels like the spirit of the series has returned. But, it also got me thinking. Gene Roddenberry held high hopes for humanity. In his 23rd century, mankind has eliminated poverty, starvation and disease. Not surprisingly, I saw Ghostbusters over the weekend. I’m not going to make this a full on review or anything, but I will say it’s the most fun I’ve had at the movies in a long time (and that’s saying a lot, considering the kind of movies I typically see). Irregular’s Intel – If I Had to Choose a Marriage to Emulate…
Earlier this week I celebrated 16 years of wedded bliss with a truly amazing woman. Now, we’ve had our ups and downs, as all marriages do, but I wouldn’t trade what I have with her for all of the Valerian steel in the six kingdoms, or is it seven?
