First announced in October 2015 and set to premiere in February 2017, Legion is a collaboration between FX and Marvel Television. It’s based on a comicbook character of the same name, who is the mutant son of Professor Xavier – yes, from X-Men. This is the first series to have a direct tie-in to the X-Men movies. It’s time for that ultra-special graduate school paper on the topic of your own choosing. What will the topic be? The history of Lancashire? The works of Edgar Allan Poe? What about witchcraft? Despite having no reason to choose the topic other than having a slight interest in witchcraft (the history of witch craft, despite never saying likewise), Nan Barlow (Venetia Stevenson) embarks on a trip to research her topic. On the recommendation of her professor, Alan Driscoll (Christopher Lee), Nan breaks plans with her brother to travel to Whitewood, Massachusetts.
