She Geek Critique – Dragon Con Download

If you listen to the show regularly, you know that Kylan and I were down in Atlanta for Labor Day weekend to attend the mega pop culture geek nirvana known as Dragon Con (along with about 90,000 of our closest friends). Irregular’s Intel – It’s Time For a Con

I’m starting to feel the anticipation that comes with getting ready for a con. I’m thinking about what I’m wearing, what panels I’m going to, what parties to hit… how can I squeeze a nap in? Listen now!    Continue reading GW1 Issue 115 – Copious Quantities of Comic-Con

It stopped being a true comic convention years ago and is now a pop culture and media convention. Of course, a lot of today’s pop culture is based on comicbook properties, so there’s a full circle thing going on anyway. The fact remains: SDCC is the grand-daddy of comic cons and it’s now where Hollywood lets loose with the vast majority of announcements and surprises for the year in pop culture to come.  Continue reading She Geek Critique – All the Things
