I started reading comics when I was 11 or 12. There were a handful of local shops, maybe 4 or 5, and I would go with my grandpa and frequent them on about a monthly basis. I rotated stores. With Con on the Cob coming up this week it got me thinking about cons in general. I love cons. This is really saying something because I’m an introvert by nature. But if you’re a geek and you’ve never had the opportunity to experience a convention, you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s fun, entertaining, crazy, amazing, exciting, exhausting… all crammed into just a few short days.
